About Synod 2013

  • Notice of the 144th Session of Synod
  • Theme: Come to the Waters
  • The Rev'd Ryan Sim will be our Keynote Speaker. Ryan is a church planter with the Diocese of Toronto, in the early stages of developing of a new church for busy, commuters and their families, called Redeemer Church in Ajax, Ontario.  His unique approach to church planting has begun with a mobile app and web site called "Redeem the Commute", which offers free courses on marriage, parenting, and Christianity 101, as well as daily discipleship challenges.  Ryan has pastored in both rural, urban and suburban settings, and brings a passion for encouraging creative new approaches to ministry and mission that engage a community's needs, build community and make disciples.
